I think I just saw Elton John and Dolly Parton sing John Lennon's "Imagine" on the Country Music Awards.
(Looking for picture).

Elton John in New York singing on the CMA was a treat until Dollie joined in; however, my attention went to her outfit! I couldn't figure out what she was wearing until she stepped out from behind the piano. She should have stayed where she was!
Country in New York City didn't fit! Everything about Dollie was over the top, and her top is really over the top! Meaning the big hair!
The song was not right, singing with Elton John was not right!
But, I'm going to order Garth Brooks from WalMart for Christmas presents.
The CMAs were a joke. Hip Hop and Country both attempt to over do everything. It sucks!!!!! Just let the music be the focus of our attention, not hype and BS.
I used to listen to C & W, but then it seems that they cloned one or two of the so called "artists" about 15 years ago, and now it pretty much all sounds lousy! Billy Clyde
.....don't particularly like country music, but Dolly Parton is about as genuine as they come (except for the physical stuff).... .....but she's still pretty for an old gal!
...would the world come to an end in Wise County if we had a jazz festival here?
....boy, I'd love to hear Kenny G......what a saxaphonist!
Oh My God!!! Country Music is a way of life, it is genuine, funny, sad, happy, meaningful, meaningless, heartfelt, heartbreaking...........Wonderful!! I love it, although the CMA's weren't that great this year. But, Carrie Underwood and her new song "Jesus take the wheel" ---awesome!
Garth Brooks is done leave it, don't come back. At least Troy Aikman knew when to quit.
Dee 12:35 - - I agree totally what was up with them! They must of just come from the farm and the hairstylist just decided to plaster down the top of her hair! Neither one of them looked as good as they truly are.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
Elton wants to BE Dolly. He modeled his costumes after her. No surprise that they had an on stage lesbian love affair.
Conde...I think you speak for all. So true.

or Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Joe Pass on guitar, Max Roach on drums and Frank Sinatra as voice.
Is it just me or would someone else agree that Faith Hill's hair and make-up was tacky?
She's beautiful but last night on the CMA's, she looked awful....and Tim needed a shave!
Yep, your right Dee. I thought Faith had waaaaaaaaaaay too much eye make-up on!
darn queers popping up every where i wonder how much they paid that fag to do that becuse hes way to snoody to do that for a few dollars
Fag or not - he had some great hits!
*has
Poor Dolly, her face has been fixed so many times, she can't stop smiling!!

Hey queen elton john, I bet he's got more money than your redneck self will ever have. And, HE'S GAY, SO WHAT?
I agree with anon. 4:56. Who cares, he's a wonderful musician. Wish he'd perform a concert in Wise county!
