Seasonal Moods
I think this is my favorite time of year. I like it cold. I like two major holidays on the horizon. I like the chance of snow in the next couple of months. I kind of like driving home in the dark after work.
I like reflecting.

I love spring the best. I love cool days but I love my flowers. Fall is nice but I hate it being dark so much. I feel like hibernating. I hate cold feet. I love it when it is brisk though. I like it when it is cool enough to bake and cook without ruining the AC. Fall reminds me of Pumpkin Bread. I make a wonderful Pumpkin Bread.
I like the full/new??? moon tonight driving home...really really nice.
I love the early darkness, don't feel so old for going to bed early. I love the cool weather, could without the wind. Love the TRUE football weather!
Yep, I like being able to drink my coffee in the mornings without breaking into a sweat...all for that jolt of caffeine. And on a more graceful note...the sunsets are amazing.
Why all this loving the cold, dark days of fall/winter? If ya'll like it so much, maybe move to North Dakota or something.

.....in about ten years, you'll switch to spring.....

I agree with you Barry 100% and I do plan on moving up north in a few years where it is cooler and even cold. Love the dark and I commute too!
