Talk About Tired Head

The Yankees and Angels played game four last night in New York. Tonight (Monday) they are playing in Anaheim, California. I'm not sure, but I think those two cities are not close to each other. Edit: The Angels won and now they travel to Chicago to play a game on Tuesday night.

What kind of scheduling is that? At least give them one day for a breather. Way to go Angels. Glad the Yanks are out.

ME TOO! As long as the Yankees finish no better than us (RedSox) it is a good year! lol is that petty or what?

I bet the TV networks are hating that the Yanks lost. The ratings for the World Series will probably be lower this year. Isn't it ironic that so many people tune in to watch the Yankees but most of them are wishing they'd lose. I have to admit it was quite nice to see A-rod's double out to help the Angels win.

miz.gina,

I've got news for you. The yankees did finish better than you. They took the eastern division title.

To m&m,
I like the fact that baseball plays these games quickly instead of dragging the playoffs on for over a month like the NBA. Sometimes you have to wait four days between their playoff games. As much as their paid, they ought to be able to handle 8 hours of games each day. I have no sympathy for any professional athlete who makes more than a million dollars a year. For those who only make the league minimum of 250 grand, maybe a little. . . NOT!

I guess the Angels didn't need a breather after all. Angels 3 White Sox 2.

Also,I agree with you that the NBA drags their playoffs on way too long. Good point. I also don't like that two week wait after the NFC & AFC title games for the super bowl in the NFL.

7:51 ... actually we finished the season with the same record.. and they you may get to raise a flag next spring... we still tied on the year.

We both washed out the first round... it DID take you one more game... although seeing the game Randy Johnson pitched I am not sure I would claim that! SO I think the Yankees finished no better than we did.
