I Think The Dear Lord Would Say, "OK, Stop It!"

A woman, age 39, in Arkansas has given birth to her sixteenth child. May favorite tidbits: (1) It has been eight years since they had a girl (2) The father is a former state representative (3) The father said: "We both just love children and we consider each a blessing from the Lord. I have asked Michelle if she wants more and she said yes, if the Lord wants to give us some she will accept them." (4) Here are the kid's names: Joshua, 17; John David, 15; Janna, 15; Jill, 14; Jessa, 12; Jinger, 11; Joseph, 10; Josiah, 9; Joy-Anna, 8; Jeremiah, 6; Jedidiah, 6; Jason, 5; James, 4; Justin, 2; and Jackson Levi, 1.

You are such a piglet, posting the picture of rabbits. Hey, if they can afford them, and they want them, let them have 'em!

It's the multiplying people on public assistance that kill me.

Groucho Marx is supposed to have said to a married couple with 12 kids during one of his "You Bet Your Life Game Shows" that "I like my cigar but I take it out of mouth every once in a while".

Any thing else that you think the good lord would say.

If some pastor says he has heard from God you liberals go nuts.

I believe that people on public asistance should be able to multiply, divide, add and even subtract.

I think they are nuts but that is just me. I know a couple of families like that and they tend to remind me of Andrea Yates and Republic of Texas Militia for some reason. (Not necessarily at the same time)

I'm not so concerned with whether or not they feel blessed from the Lord...but rather, how much abuse can this poor woman's body take? If she's had 16 kids in 17 years, isn't that really unhealthy and damaging to her system?

Well, best of luck, Anon 5:46, on finding public assistance people with those mathematical skills AND willing to USE them in a job making money for themselves. Wish you could "donate" for me.

As Barry says, "Sheesh."

Now let's not get side-tracked. This should be about that family and their lifestyle......nowhere did I read anything about them being on public assistance. Give them a break.........I would think she at least needs one!

Actually, I saw a special on these folks earlier in the year. They are not on any kind of public assistance and run a very tight ship. The mother actually home schools all these kids and makes their clothes. You should see their pantry - it's bigger than my house. They also do not believe in credit cards and built their house themselves. It was pretty amazing.

Let's hope the Lord doesn't bless other families as much or soon their will be no room left in Arkansas!

Can you imagine if every family was so blessed, how many new schools would have to be built, if the moms didn't home school?

I worry though...how long can the woman keep having blessings? At what point in time, is she going to crack and start eating her young!

All the J's give me tired head. When my mom would address one of us, she always had to go down the list of kids to get the right one and she only had 3 kids. Can you imagine "Joshua, John David, Janna, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, JoyAnna, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Jason, James, Justin, oh I mean Jackson Levi"

How about naming the next child, Jjjj...Just stop here!!

Lol

5:45 Liberal going nuts, yes, plus rolling their eyes, laughing and wondering how in the world reasoning is completely gone with some who believe in no birth control. God told us to go forth and multiply. But back then, the man had more than one wife doing the multiplying!

Liberals are liberals. They will try to find ways to get all the J,J,J,J,j,J,J,J,J,J,J,J,J,J,J,J and future little J's, health care, college education, affordable health care and mental health care!

I am betting this isn't the woman's choice. I also bet she isn't allowed to have friends and has been seperated from her family. Odds are Dad is in charge of the school curriculum and every other decision. He can probably quote that verse about women obeying their husbands but can't remember that he is suppose to love his wife as he loves himself. I hope I am wrong.
