If the students need to be advised of that - it's already too late!

A FIELD HOUSE EXPANSION???????? Damn Rod, haven't you spent enough of our money? August cant get here soon enough. Do us a favor and take some of those inept board members with you. And finally, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!!!!!!!!

So while schools in the district are short staffed and teachers are having to buy most of the classroom supplies for their students because budgets have been cut to the bone, Townsend & board members think we need to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a larger field house? Unbelievable!

DISD will spend money on a football field and then run out of room for students in the next 2 years.
They built the crazy indoor practice field with turf after the people voted to not put turf in so now they will do another end around on the voters. School board is a joke at DISD

Another week with nothing about the HUGE school bond in Alvoid. There is no way a school with the tax base of that district can make a$1.25 MILLION dollar payment every year for the next 30 years. It will bankrupt the town and the school. But Johnny Boy and Race Horse Matthews will have heir names on a building so they can brag to their grand children

I don't think you understand how bonds are funded.

Nothing will change with a different superintendent. The current one probably has the TASA applicants narrowed down to whoever will be easily controlled. Watch the current superintendent become a consultant for the construction of the maxed out schools he has predicted.
