No big surprise here. Give a 28 yr old egomaniac a souped up car with some cool lights on it, ya gotta figure he'll do something stupid sooner or later
11:44 and 1:02 ... I'm surprised that Barry would let idiots like you post here, but since he let you voice your opinions, maybe he'll let me post mine. You're both gutless cowards counting on anonymity on a blog. If you care to be men about it, I'd love to meet with you. I'm David, live in Weatherford and am available 24/7.
He was responding to an accident? Why such a hurry to get to the accident that he caused his own death. Must have been some accident that he presence was needed so badly that he felt the need to speed to get to it. I have troopers and local police pass me so fast when I am doing the speed limit, that you wonder what fire they are headed to. Officers need to learn that they have to obey the laws too. The speed limits are set for a reason.
I can't belive some people have no heart !! I bet if you were in an accident you would want one to be there asap..Just like firemen,policemen,ect..you don't like them until you need them !!!Praying for the family.
David in Weatherford - You shouldn't be surprised that BG lets these people post. He is BIG anti law enforcement. He focuses on the few bad cops and never credits any of the thousands of good and decent LEOS that would come to his resuce in time of need.
Let's see what part of anonimity "David in Weatherford" does not cover. None, funny enough. I assume by the tone of your comment that you work in law enforcement? OK. What, are you a mechanic in the maintenence shop? Janitor? Your comment smacks of a threat, so if you're a real cop, trust me, that won't last long.
24/7? really? OK, I'll bite. Walgreen's parking lot, say 3 AM. Is that covered in your schedule?
BTW. between now and 3 AM you could even consider whether my comment might even have some validity, as another poster brought up. Do some (read: many) 28 yr old cops have inflated egos? Are cop cars pretty fast? Could testosterone/adrenaline ever play a part in a cop's life? Does the combination of these things ever cause accidents? Is there really a rationale for my voicing an opinion to be met with a 24/7 "invitation" to "meet".
Or are you just a hot-head, heade for a bad ending?
BARRY has always been pro police... he believes in the honor of the job. Hell he worked for almost minimum wage in Wise County as the D.A..........but, we need to pick out a few bugs in our garden. To the next bug Barry, GIT ER DONE.

Why would one of "our troopers" be on duty somewhere else?
2nd Trooper death in two months. Sad....
Prayers of comfort to his family, both Wife and Child and his DPS family.
They are STATE troopers, hince the "our" part.

Posted on the wrong item: I don't claim bullies of the law, so they're not "mine" thank you very much.

1:15 I hope your not a police officer.
Not sure if 11:44 is wrong in their statement.
Sad but, true.
1:15 David in Weatherford. How convenient. I also live in Weatherford. Come on by. 302 Lee St. Let's have a beer. Surveillance video will be on.
If you're a cop, go see a psychiatrist. Then read the constitution.
