The things he had to go through with lineup changes due to injuries, and integrating acquired players into the system, not to mention the minor firestorm of his drug use and the change in ownership
Congressman Wells from Florida just happened to be a tea party candidate and just happened to be black and just happened to win his race. So much for the conspiracy theory.
Unfortunately, voting for the MOY ended before the playoffs. At that point, no one gave a damn about the Rangers, they were the little crappy team from the West that just happened to be the least crappiest team in the division. Look at the standings, they wouldn't have made the playoffs at all if they had been in any other division. They were 0-12 against the other 3 playoff teams on the road, and the next nearest competitor was a .500 team. NOW, with all that having been said, it was a he'll of a ride and more fun than the 3 Super Bowls the Cowboys won in my lifetime and the voting dates should be changed to reflect the playoffs. Sorry for the run-on.

Damn Tea Party Conspiracy....won't vote for the black guy.
Shocking, but that the way it go when you sniff the blow!!!
Didn't the voters see him do what he do?

BG, what the heck is wrong with you? The award was for "Manager of the Year" not the "Fastest Sunflower Seed Eater".
THAT'S THE WAY BASEBALL GO
It's got to be a conspiracy.... nothing happens in this world without something you vaguely know about affecting it...
nothing is ever face value... just read the blogs....
There were actually some voters who did not even have Ron Washington among their top 3 managers in the AL.
