I LIKE IT!! Very creative and brings back a bit of "history." Now those of you whippersnappers that aren't very old maybe don't realize that it used to be the "in thing" to put stickers of where you had been on your luggage. (I've seen some RV owners do something like that now on their RV's and those folks are probably old enough to remember this tradition.) Brings a bit of nostalgia to the viewer's mind. I still have my mother's old traveling trunk with all her stickers on it! I LIKE THE PHOTO!
It's a very sinister image. Maybe this guy is walking to Austin to protest the taking of private land to build highways, except if it's for highways he needs to walk on to get to Austin easier.
You people are nuts - I LOVE the 'Welcome to Wise' publication! As it's intended, this Newcomer learned a lot of terrific info. about my new surroundings. Even a visitor over from the old digs went through it last night and proclaimed it, "Terrific!"
Thx., 'Messenger,' for a sublime offering. I'm keeping my copy right next to the phone book and other reference guides.

Oh great, that's all we need is one more homeless guy stumbling into our quite well run little community sucking off our county teat.
Uh, I think judging by his assortment of stickers, he's never even left this county!
Just stopped by to comment, that's creepy. About as creepy as Wise County is. Glad I don't live there, nor have to go through there very often.

4:03, Wise County is very GLAD you DON'T live here too!!
We are filing a formal protest of ignorance, for being ignored.
We've hired some green attorney named Green out of Decatur for non-representation without representation...we think...sort of.

If you have a Rhome and Boyd sticker on your suitcase, you need your ass kicked! You have been sheltered!

If there's meth and illegal pictures in that case, this slasher will be welcome there.
Something about this picture just screams "serial killer hitchhiker"

I'm surprised Walker wasn't trying to get his follower Joe Duty to put his picture on the cover.
The name of the magazine is "Welcome to Wise" so DUH! the stickers on the bag are the towns in Wise Co. I think that was the point.
I love the picture. It's cool if you look closely at the end of the hwy. stripes, you can see the WISE COUNTY courthouse.
We are so lucky to have the very talented Joe Duty in our community.
And 6:57 - very funny comment.
I love it, too.
Great pic, as always Joe!
Very clever, great shot!
I'm thinking "Traveling snake oil salesman" or "Traveling FIre and Brimstone Preacher" here!
