The buzz today is the beginning of a series of bomb shell articles in the Washington Post. (I saw some stories last week that the White House was already preparing for the fallout.) The beginning sentence is a great summary. We all think government is too big, but it's frightening to think it may be twice as big and twice as powerful then we believed.
And check out this tidbit from the first article: "Every day, collection systems at the National Security Agency intercept and store 1.7 billion e-mails, phone calls and other types of communications." Good grief.

On December 21 2012 no one will be around for anyone to monitor.
Governmental power is frightening in any form, but much more so since 9-11 and now this regime has capped it all. I think we should all enjoy what we have now, because it might not last....really!
Top. Men.
Where are all the liberal weenies to speak up on this? They sure came out of the woodwork when The CIA under Bush was eavesdropping on suspected terrorists.
See if they catch this...F**k the Big Brother...in the words of the Great Uncle Ted..Locked, Cocked and ready to Rock..Fear us Armed ones..
Only liberal weanies live in fear. Does'nt scare me. My arsenal is always on standby.
Does'nt scare me. Only liberal weanies choose to live in fear.

B.G. is actually in charge of the secret world government. All this talk about going GREEN is designed to slowly shift the entire world to his control.
Watch out America!
1.7 billion a day? That's all? That's a drop in the bucket compared to the entirety of communications executed each day. Means that there's very little "spying" going on.
Well maybe those citizens that are so ticked off about and afraid of big government ought to start NOT accepting jobs, contracts and all the benefits of being employed by the government and companies that earn big bucks working for it, eh? The "big scary government" is made up of people who live on your street, in your town, and who you know. Think this doesn't apply to you and your family. Wrong. If you stop to think?about it, either you or someone in your family depend on the government sector either directly or indirectly to pay your bills. Betcha.
I HATE the government. Until I need a cop. I HATE government. Until I need a road to drive on. I HATE the government. Until I lose my job and need unemployment. I HATE the government. Until I can't afford health insurance. I HATE the government. Until I want someone found and kept in jail. I HATE the government. Until I'm flying somewhere and want to be sure someone's watching air traffic radar. I HATE the government. Until someone comes into the country illegally. And so forth.
I LOVE the government. Until they send the cops to cease my property and give to those who have less than I. I LOVE the government. Until they tell me the roads on which I can drive and how much mileage I can drive and that it doesn't meet their mandated quota. I drive I LOVE the government. Until they tell me what I can eat, how much I eat, and when. I LOVE the government. Until I am awaiting a heart transplant and they decide I am not next in line because of my race. I LOVE the government. Until I lose my job because of increased regulations and moratoriums on industry. I LOVE the government. Until I am forced to pay the health insurance of those unwilling to work to pay for their own. I LOVE the government. Until I want someone found and kept in jail. I LOVE the government. Until someone comes into the country illegally. And so forth.
Sounds like 8:25 and 10:24 should leave America. Both - sour grapes!
8:25 is a cop...trust me...cue the Eagle sound and a Toby Keith song...they have Lee Greenwood playing in the backgound while they shine there Black Boots.. well said 10:24..

Hey 4:07 anonymous, where are all the conservative weenies complaining about Obama's spy regime? Oh yeah, they spent the week bitching about something Shirley Sherrod didn't say.
