There are bunch of people on this blog that are wound too tight.
It's just entertainment. Have you watched her perform? - she is quiet entertaining.
She is certainly not in my top 5 or 6 concerts I would want to attend, but I can certainly see why she is a success.
I see country acts that aren't the least bit entertaining to me, but it doesn't make me all angry that there are lots of people who love those performers.
I gotta agree with 10:08 (except for the "quiet entertaining" remark - that's Marcel Marceau's milieu!) It's just yawn-inducing pop junk to me, but some folks like it
From the little bits that I've heard her speak, I gather that this is a stage persona. She seems to be channeling a mash-up of Alice Cooper and Elton John. It's harmless, but if it bothers you that much, then pray for her, the nation, and mankind in general. I'm sure that will fix everything
I only have seen her weird get-ups, not her performing. She recently made some comments on the hate group of Fred Phelp's Westboro Baptist Church. That was a big plus for her for me.
She is just taking a page out of the old "be outrageous" playbook. Madonna has been doing it for years and laughing all the way to the bank. Take something that is sure to offend a group of people in an in your face kind of way and it lands you at the pinnacle of pop culture. (i.e.,John Lennon's remarks about the Beatles popularity vs Jesus or Ozzy biting the head off a live bat, or Britney Spears flashing the paparazzi with no panties)These are publicity stunts not cool artistic expressions.
I saw Gaga on the Today show a few weeks back. She's got nothing.
Well, whatever she does, she's making more than I. If you see her without the outrageous get-ups, she's beautiful. Not only that, extremely talented. She has been playing the piano since she was 4, has been classically trained in piano, and other instruments. She is a composer too. So what if she dresses up a bit? And I'm old enough to remember when the Beatles were on The Ed Sullivan Show and many parents thought the world would end with their hair. Mine just thought they were cute and I wouldn't be ruined if I watched. It's just a gimmick and it's one that sells.
I don't mind her music, her clothes, the sexual ennuendos, etc. All I really take offense to here is the blood. Seems that's a bit gross to me and makes me wonder what about this type of display is enticing. To me, she appears to have washed in blood, which I find extremely disturbing.

Umm, FREAK!
I simply cannot believe how we keep making ugly folks with no talent into superstars.
This was in St. Louis....not Dallas
Looks like something from industrialaccidentpics.com
Absolutely disgusting!

Lighten up; life's much more fun that way.
LOL @ Madonna
We are all going crazy if we think this is acceptable! This is SICK!

Looks like somebody planned the concert at the wrong time of the month.

I do know the difference in "quite" & "quiet" so I'm just going to say/hope that was a typo.
I will say that your comment in regard to my mistake was QUITE funny!

that's a nice-looking assortment of gals in the pic you tacked on. Some of them - you can almost see their Ga-gas...and their hoo-has
Re the girls in pict:
Ho-ho-ho. And I'm not talking about Santa Claus.
My Other Brother Darryl
ps - Yes, I listen to her music. Guilty.
I think she fits right into our anything goes society. If it feels good, do it. This Country is going down the chitter in the fast lane.
I think she forgot here tampons on the bus.
Yep 1:43........I agree being washed in blood ...Jesus's or lady Gaga's is disturbing.
