Not sure why this "creeps" you out. You ARE aware that we are all going to die, right? I am acutely aware at all times that my time could be up at any moment. Perhaps that's due to the fact that I work in healthcare, but not sure why you'd be surprised about anyone over the age of 40 dying for any reason.....happens every day.

I think it is sad how unfeeling people are that find the time to be funny when something so tragic happens to anyone any age
Given the choice of living very well for 48 years or being poor for 75, I think I'd go with the former.
