2 years ago I was shook down by a trooper at the South Tunnel exit at TMS. Cut my wrist band that was needed to get into the infield. He made me buy another wrist band to get back in and everyone with me had to buy another one as well. He said we had open containers and we could go to jail if we didn't buy another wrist band from him. Our driver was not drink nor did he have any to drink at all that day. All in All He picked up $600 cash that he put into his pocket.

Nothing is worse than a bad cop, BUT, you seem to relish in any bad cop story. Guess that's just a "defense lawyer" thing. Bet you might have different feelings if you were ever in a situation where you needed help. God forbid, you would ever exercise your second amendment right and carry one yourself. Sometimes you really disgust me.

I call BS. Everyone with you just gave over $600 total? And you can not go to jail for a open containter ...unless you refuse to sign the ticket issued for open container. And why didn't you report it?

"Our driver was not drink" ????

As stupid as your post sounds, the trooper should have been able to get more money from you.

I call BS too.

Now I know the Del Rio story, thanks Barry. He never mentioned any of that while I knew him.
