Possibly the 'gentleman' pictured is 'down with his nine', if the firearm in his left hand is a P-89. However, it could be a 'foaty' or a .45.
The handgun on his right is pretty clearly a 1911 .45 ACP.
If he wishes to be effective with his armament, both would be of the same caliber so as not to cause confusion when reloading.
