Saw This In A Fort Worth Grocery Store Today

And, after looking around, I'm still not sure what a "New Age Drink" is.

Wow, y'all have NO IDEA what new age was/used to be. I'm gonna have to dig out my crystal collection I've got boxed away. And while I'm digging around, I think I will pull out my Ray Lynch cassette.

Naw, I'll just looked him up on the innerwebs. Hold on. Wow! I found him. What a reminder. Celestial Soda Pop used to be one of my faves. Now that I have listened to that many years later, I still kind of like it. It's similar to "Tubular Bells".

HFJC, I can't believe I even ever contemplated trying to be "New Age.

If I ever meet you in person, Barry........arrrrgggghhhhhh!

New Age drinks are the Pepsi of the "Boomer" generation. High in good stuff like antioxidents, etc. One of the "comers" is a drink called purple drink. They just cimpleted a deal w/ GNC and Piggly Wiggley to distribute one the West coast. Corp. headquarters is currently in Alabama. Yea, go ahead with all the smart@$$ comments. They are big on the East coast (Georgia) and the West coast (Calf.). They are a penny stock that lately has done poorly (analyst say because they spend virtually NOTHING on advertising), but they are expected to become the Pepsi of the Boomer generation.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a "new age" drink is probably one that is guarana, caffeine, and/or cocaine laced....you know....the Red Bulls and Monsters of the world.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that when BG finally posts something about young Johnny Edwards, we will see no less than 3 posts spinning back towards Bush. I'm going to go ahead and say that it was Bush's fault Juanita Edwards lied about cheating on his wife.

Also, the "I'd rather have elected someone who cheats on his wife than one who gets 4,000,000,000 american soldiers killed" spinage won't work either because I've already used it.

Try an Izze! Peach and Clementine Orange are my two faves.

I found this after doing about 1 minute of research.

"So what exactly are New Age Beverages? Well, this is a new category within the Beverage Industry that covers the new style of beverages. This new "category" is growing and changing. Before only Energy Drinks and really new innovative beverages where part of the category. Now the category has evolved and you can include enhanced water, tea's, diet drinks, iced coffee and really, any new drink. Every beverage company want's to be associated with the "New Age" category because not just because it's sexier but because the category is growing quicker and investors are looking at it up close."

It means new prices. Maybe the drinks are "green"...meaning that if you have an oversized house and car that you can feel good about drinking something. And you can shower in your "low flow" shower for a half an hour instead of jumping in and out of a regular flow shower in five minutes. We are all just nucking futs hypocrits.
