Pounding
I love Fox 4 News. Heck, I was married to Lari Barager until I had that "incident" with Megan Henderson at the Christmas party that caused a messy breakup. But that's old news that was well documented by People magazine.
Anyway, I'm watching that fine news show tonight when Steve Eagar throws it to some guy named "Foti" (a sure sign that trouble was ahead) who is on the beach at Galveston. Why? Because it is certain to be completely destroyed by a thunderhead that's out there in the gulf right now.
People, it's a pain to record these videos and upload them to youtube, so watch this. The key word is that the beach is getting "pounded" by the waves. That's all you need to know. Roll the tape.

I can't wait for 8 hours of 'on the scene' coverage of a 1/2 inch of snow.
You catch that one but NO ONE caught the one last week where Shawn Rabb says... with a straight face mind you, "If you've had sex with anyone other than yourself in the past 10 years you need to be tested for HIV."

Watch out Galveston, as of tomorrow you will no longer exist as an island. Complete flooding devastation. Either get out or hurry and build an ark type vessel.

Stinkin' cowards. Like wordkyle said on his blog, the dems would have had to either vote for it and go against their environmental base, OR vote against it and against the will of the majority of the Amercan people.

I was in Galveston when Dolly came through. Even though Dolly hit land further south, there were much better waves than they are showing yet. Then, there was no "looking down from the seawall", the tide was UP TO IT. I'll be interested when it gets worse than that.
Three Thoughts;
1.) Crack me up!! Notice the people last night on the beach, in the background, behind "Foti", chasing Sand Crabs. Those waves were something I'll tell ya!! Even funnier was the serious look on "Foti's" face, I couldn't tell if he was just nervous about a big wave nailing him or he was trying to "rip one" without it being heard;
2.) Global Warming? It was 105 yesterday but the record was set in the 1950's, 107. Sorry Al!!
3.) Yea the Dems pulled a fast one and left but the Repubs pulled a faster one yet by staying. Sounds like the Repubs pulled one out of the Dems playbook from a few years back. It's all a joke anymore. The sad part is we all listen and pay attention to the crap. Here's how important the American people are to those in Wahington, if our Country is attacked by Nuclear means they are all, for the most part, headed underground. Whether it's in Washington D.C. or the Mountain in Colorado that's where they're going. They'll tell you it's so they can continue to run the Country. My question is, if the rest of us have our asses burnt to a crisp, what is there to run? Besides, it would take 10 years for all the nuclear waste to settle. I guess someone has to be the Mayor of that little city underneath the Capital.
Barry, please forgive me, I am getting somewhat older. Regarding yor post dated 8-2-08, titled "Just Bugged Me". Was that young man, kicked off the team, for making that Nap Video? Is it "Nap" or "Rap"? Nap makes sense to me, Nap, Nappy, etc. or is it Rap? If it's Rap, what does that stand for. My grandson say's the word Rap is missing the letter "C". Please explain when you have the time and thank you.
Yeah, and anybody else think Rebecca Miller's demise was that she was just was too real and not sexy enough?
Watching weather news these days is like reading reading the National Inquirer.
Boring.
