I'm Talking Denton?

I don't know anything about the Denton County race for a particular county commissioner position, but when one candidate runs this pic of his opponent, it makes me sad that Wise County is so civil.

Hugh Coleman v. Cynthia White. In the octagon. Now.

She's definately easier on the eyes than his tubby butt.

I think he might have done her a favor by posting that picture.

"She was one of the figures behind attempting to sell state highway 121 to the Spanish company Cintra to operate the new toll road." ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

How much for a rub and a tug?

Is there suppose to be something wrong with the photo of Cynthia White? I think she is VERY attractive, especially for a 40-something chick. Her BIO makes her appear EXTREMELY qualified for the position of Denton County Commissioner pct. 1.

She sure doesn't look like a neo-con, now does she?

It appears that White has a myspace page using the name Schyler:

I used to deal with Cythia from time to time for a job I had in Denton County. She is an interesting person. She is very right wing in her political beliefs, but she also paints her fingernails black and performs in a rock band.

She looks like an interloper to me. That or a lycanthrope, since she's a Republican.

Yea...I seen her on craigslist!

This would be a lot funnier if it was happening in Wise County, between a couple of the commissioner candidates, but alas, we all know there is no one in Wise County smart enough to pull it off.

Well, she does have a picture of herself with an necklace in the shape of an Iron Cross. You know who else wore Iron Cross...that's right.

One of her mailings points out that Hugh was fired by the new DA when he took office. There were 24 other good people fired by the new DA. It was purely mean spirited, political retaliation. The firing had nothing to do with Hugh's ability or qualification. To state or imply otherwise is to intentionally mislead the voters of Denton County. I think it shows how unscrupulous she is willing to be.

I gotta tell you, I don't know how she keeps getting elected. She must have a little gaggle of @#$%& who campaign and vote for her all the time. She is an embarrassment to the people of Denton County, and a testament that any a**hole can get elected (which ought to scare you). This occurs because there is such a small core group of voters who actually vote, it is almost an oligarchy (government by committee). I vote every chance I get, and I have campaigned for plenty of candidates, too.
GO AND VOTE!!!!

Hey Kevin I. Henry - welcome to the Wise County cult. You may have posted here before, but I must have missed it.

I just wanted to let you know that jughead and wordbile have a perpetually rented room at one of those motels on 287 in Decatur. It's the one right next to Frilly's. They tap their toes in the bathroom, while listening to Rush Limbaugh audio tapes. I think you will fit right in, jerk.

She rocks! As a politician, though, Cynthia White lost the primary, and there's a reason she did. She started out full of ideas and energy, and had some good accomplishments and ideas early on. Years ago she used attack politics to clean up some other parts of the Denton county government, and she was used to living by the sword. She fell in, though, with the wrong crowd; the Denton county political machine that has been involved with a lot of funny stuff that needs to be cleaned up, and she lost her way.
She was in office for 8 years, and she began to take her position for granted, and she made some poor decisions, like accepting contributions from county vendors.
It's sad to see what happens to people like her who start out with the best intentions, but then go astray. She's probably furious with her opponent, but over time I'll bet she'll realize she should really be angry at the people who influenced her that it was ok to depart from the straight and narrow. Regardless, she's a spunky lady, and has a lot of interests, so my suspicion is she'll do well in whatever she decides to do next; evidently she's working on a graduate degree.
