I really haven't paid much attention to NASCAR today but I knew they were in a rain delay earlier. So I flipped over a second ago (at 8:05 p.m.) to notice that the race was on lap 84 of 250. And I think this race started at 2:30 p.m! And I thought college football had some long games.

The thrill of high-speed collisions, flame, death and dismemberment! Redneck NASCAR has become the biggest spectator attraction in the USA and we should all be proud that trailer trash have found a place of temporary glory.
To 6:08AM - I'm don't eat, sleep and breathe Nascar, but I do find it just a wee bit more exciting than watching golf, with the exception of being able to watch Payne Stewart's Lear 35 slam into the ground at 600 mph!!! BUT WAIT!!!! I bet you probably watched every televised minute of the space shuttle explosions, DID'NT YOU!! Are you forced to watch Nascar?? You are soooo sick!!
Whew!! I smell a lesser primate in here!
I think NASCAR rules should be changed to require bio-fuels ONLY!
200000 Fans at Texas Motor Speedway for one day sporting event. If they are Red Necks then I guess it is what it is. But you would be surprised how many fans I see from Wise County there.
99% of the fans I have dealt with are the kind of people that would stop and help you change a flat tire on the side of the road. Or the ones who volunteer with PTA and the Boy Scouts. You know those really bad people that make up Wise County.
True, the fans are good folks. It's the drivers who are the real rednecks and lots of people would pay to see them bash eachother up. I would.
