I don't watch American Idol but I've seen news coverage of this kid wailing over some mop head singer. I was going to say the kid seems a little goofy but C4U beat me to it. Edit: Sheesh, this kid is on The Today Show. Edit #2: She's 13? I thought she was 8.

A Idol is as contrived as Lost. This whole cryin' kid scene looks rehearsed. It proved effective masking rather poor singing. (No, I didn't see the program just the clip on the news).

Give her a break. It really makes me wonder what type of person would sit there and pick on a little girl who was obviously overwhelmed by a new experience.
