. . . of nothing going on this Friday morning. I thought about linking to how rich Britney Spears is (and how hot she used to be), or linking to a video of Barbara Boxer really turning me on (political junkies only), or Wynona Ryder's cleavage.
Instead I'll just watch a million stories of John Edward's wife battling cancer.

There will be a lot of stories about John Edward's wife and so many will take this politically. I admire this courageous woman. If folks don't want to read about it, then don't - including you Barry.
Until a family is touched with this disease, they just don't have any idea the pain involved.
Your seeming disinterest about a man's wife battling for her life just says alot about you. You prefer leering at cleavage over hearing about the Edwards' concerns. Wonder why you're single? Low-tone sad.
I can't stand Milquetoast Edwards, but I only feel nothing for sympathy for the man & his wife. Fighting to live isn't to be trifled about...

Money, politics, and fame. These seem to be your primary interests, Barry. Oh, I know sex is in the mix as well, but this blog is coming off as being extremely shallow and one-sided.
Comment4u....I like how you show hatred for a man you have never met, while trying to show compassion for their situation. Politics do not always make the man/woman...but in your case you fail to seperate the two!
How so? I'm no fan of Edwards' politics -- calling him "milquetoast" isn't "hatred." It's describing how I feel about his politics. I don't get overly dramatic about anyone enough to hate them.
I don't have to like someone to feel sympathy for them being challenged with the loom of cancer.
I can separate politics & people. Hell, I like crazy liberal Barry.
I too think it'd heart wrenching concerning Senator Edwards wife's struggle with cancer. The main thing that bothers me is there are countless unnamed women who are battling this horrendous cancer as well and they don't get the attention that women who are in the "celebrity" spotlight do.
Comment4u...Ok, maybe I was wrong! If you actually like Barry, you have me convinced you can seperate the two. My bad, I do have to remember we are posting on a politically motivated blog so maybe I was projecting a little myself! I have to hand it to you, you are serious about your convervative views and defend them staunchly in an arena where you know you are going to get beaten up! By that I do not mean you are the losing end of your debates, but that you endure a lot of abuse.
Don't get me wrong, I can sympathize with what his wife is going through. Every generation of the women in my family have gone through it. But I think it is very sad that he will most likely draw votes from many people just because of this issue rather than on his political stance.
Spears: Wow, didn't realize she still had that much money, but lost 10 mill from the divorce. Ouch
Boxer: The power has gone to her head. I watched that hearing late that night, and came to realize we could probably cool the earth that .7 degree it has raised in the last 100 years, by preventing all that hot air spewing out of Gore with a good roll of duct tape. His choice of color, of course. And he did what Barry hates by citing these isolated incidents that he claimed were proof that global warming is real. One was that December was one of warmest winter months on record. But that got blown out of the water by a senator who said that January was one of the coldest months on record in his state with over 180 record low temps.
Look at the money. In politics, the number one motivating factor for any cause is money, greed etc. Give us a break Al.

There is reality. It stinks, but it is sure as heck there, for him too!
