Greetings From Sodom and Gomorrah

Random Vegas thoughts, as postings might be a little slim today:

- The plane ride, on US Airways, was freakin' scary. I'm not saying I'm a world traveler, but the guy next to me was, and he proclaimed it the most turbulence he had ever gone through. (Bouncing around, losing altitude) But the pilot didn't even come on the intercom to assure us we weren't going to die.
- This place is incredible - I come here maybe once every five years and every time they are building more and more crap.
- And this place is expensive
- Certainly more and more of mixed culture - lots of Asian influence
- I got here to late to bet on the NCAA Tourney, but I'll try it today
- I always lose at gambling so I never gamble that much. I sit down at a video poker machine, and the beating immediately begins. Not much incentive to poor a ton a cash into those things
- Going to two shows today, Phantom of the Opera and The Blue Man Group. My buddy Clark told me that Phantom will whip my arse. I told him that I had read, "it's really short - like an hour and 20 minutes." He replied, "It seemed like seven or eight hours." Funny guy.

To Barry...
If you can get tickets to "O" at the Bellagio you really should see the show. AWESOME does not begin to describe the show. If you are around the Bellagio after dark make certain to watch the fountain show outside. It is way cool and FREE.

Just a FEW eating suggestions: Wynn Shopping Mall has a few fabulous places.

Wynn Sugar and Ice = Ice Cream
Wynn Red 8 = AWESOME Asian food GREAT PRICES
Wynn SW Steakhouse = You will need to sell your first born but the food is INCREDIBLE.

Mandalay Bay Burger Bar = Build your own INCREDIBLE burger GREAT PRICES

Mandalay Bay Rum Jungle = Great party scene eat dinner there around 9:ish and you will not have to pay the INSANE cover fee to get into the club.

If you REALLY suck at poker Excalibur has FREE poker classes.

If YOU want to do something TOTALLY insane go a wee bit off the strip to "FLYAWAY" and do some INDOOR sky diving.

YEP! I have been to Vegas a FEW times. I love the Wynn Resort but I AM a golfer but NEVER gamble.

Barry hasn't gone to Sin City, 10:30AM. He's gone to Cibola. He is a false prophet, leading us to believe he was liberally lean, but he's actually gone to make a stand against us.

You know, now I get mzcreep. She's actually just Nadine in disguise. Look at how she's sucking up to him in these Vegas blogs.

Hey, no one corrected Barry's writing. The "to" should have been "too" and "poor" should have been "pour." I guess we should give this "pour" Wise Co illiterate some slack when he's coolin' in Vegas. (And mschief didn't even pick up on it.)

RARELY do ANY of the grammar, spelling and punctuation errors in the posts and comments on Barry's Blog escape my notice. Even MORE rarely do I comment on the errors I notice on The Blog. I am NOT the grammar Nazi. I personally have NO problem when people on a blog make grammar, spelling, punctuation or typographical errors so long as their message is communicated and understood by those reading the blog. I am taken aback when in a PROFESSIONAL situation people fail to proof read and correct their errors. However, I would NEVER consider correcting their errors or bringing to their attention their error. I was taught that to correct the text errors included in a written message would be a far greater error than any made by the person who sent the message.
