This war is not forgotten by me. It's rare a day passes when I don't think about what we're doing in the Middle East. If I was young again, I'd jump at the chance to serve my country and be first in line to volunteer for duty.
The ABC Sunday morning show runs an In Memoriam piece about 10:15. each week they list all those that were killed the previous week. It seems to have been averaging 20 a week for as long as the war has been going on. "Stay the course".
My son is a US Marine and I hope and pray everyday that he never has to do a tour in Iraq. I also pray for everyone who has a son, daughter, husband or other loved one over there....
Hey Anon 6:36, I did put up when it was my turn with 2 tours of duty in Viet Nam -- another war the American public despised. Your comment is born from ignorance and cowardice.
