Random news

But I just read something about six three people being dead in an Amish school.

A school shooting is bad enough but the Amish factor takes it to a new level of darkness.

Although that Bill Murray - Woody Harrelson bowling movie won't leave my brain, now.

All that can be said about this is horrible, horrible tragedy. The popularity of these school shootings is unbelievable. Heard that a 16 year old brought a weapon to the football game Friday night - left it outside by a dumpster "cause he thought he probably shouldn't bring it in". Brilliant decision - thankfully, it was not loaded so one of the many hundreds of children running free at the game, unmonitored, didn't get their hands on it. Montana is looking really good.

don't you think if it was in the vehicle at the game (when he decided he shouldn't have it there) that it was probably in the same vehicle parked at the school's parking lot that day? other days? Decatur's officials better get a grip on this problem. It isn't the first time. Parents will decide it is serious after someone is killed, I guess!

Obviously it wasn't a football player who brought the gun. If it had been, it would have been covered up ...like all the other times. Guns are not allowed on school property ...PERIOD. ZERO tolerance? I guess Gindt has some special sense and just knew the kid had no intentions of hurting anyone! (?) Not sure I would want my kids protected by his "special sense" ....I'd rather the law do their job and ticket/jail .... this kid, even if it is to set an example. Oh, But... that example has already been set... by all the other incidents that have been "covered up."

Hey..what happened to those 2 new school board members in Decatur who were going to "make some changes!" uhhhhhh... we're waiting....and waiting......annnnndddddddd .... w a i t i n g. . . .

Zero tolerance only applies, in Decatur, to some. If you are not in the "know" or "whom" or "family history" or "have a cabin at reunion" you are up sh..t creek and will have to be accountable for your behavior. I see it here every day - deny it if you want.

Not a horrible tragedy. It is God's will to have those kids brutally murdered. How else can it be explained?
