If You Get Your News From Fox News . . .

. . . you aren't getting the news at all. This morning I was watching (ever so briefly) "Fox and Friends" as Brian Kilmeade was interviewing the new Republican candidate who will attempt to take Mark Foley's place in Florida. It was more like a campaign ad. But get this: Foley's name will remain on the ballot and the only way the new candidate can win is if the voters actually elect Foley. If that happens, the new Republican takes his place. How screwed up is that? But I did giggle when Brian asked, "So there is no way that we . . .uh. . . [insert awkward pause] . . . we, the people, can get your name on the ballot?" And Fox News three times yesterday put up a graphic showing the disgraced Foley as a Democrat.

Remember,Dennis Hastert would not be Speaker of the House today if Bob Livingston had not condemned Bill Clinton for adultry while Livingston was committing adultry.

Did Livingston lie under oath? If Republicans are caught, they resign. Democrats are given standing ovations and are heralded.

Delay did not resign. Republicans changed the rules so he could continue to play. Democrats kicked off Jefferson.

When did a pedophile receive a standing ovation?

Doesn't matter. Polls = repug-toast.

Fox is definantly biased and promotes the conservative agenda.
Still not even though, because ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN do the same for the liberal agenda.

Anon 9:24. Gerry Studds received 3 standing ovations. Jefferson is still in Congress. You can believe the polls and I will believe the election results.

Gotta love politics - especially locally.

Check out the Index for a neat photo of Republicans having a barbeque.

The party switchers were there.

Be sure and vote for them if you can do it while holding your nose.

Vote democrat and put your fingers in your ears.

Vote independent and you won't have to worry about either one.

The Faux news people are hoping that no one notices their subliminal message and just takes what they see at face value. I am so freaking sick of the most biased network on TV trying to steer public opinion that I may quit watching it altogether.

Ironic how Democrats echo Bush's phrase "If you're not for us, you're against us," when they discuss Fox News.

Fox vs. ABC, CBS, CNN & NBC....hmmmm.

ABC? LMAO! path to 9/11 propagandi fauxumentary.

Seems like he has been doing this since 1995:

11 years. And nothing was done.

Do you think the D-FL was an accident? Absolutely not. It's just a mindfuck. Propaganda. A subtle way for Republicans to distance themselves.

Anon 10:48 AM: Yes, ABC. You guys are so brainwashed that anything remotely balanced you classify as "right wing propaganda."

Y'all's compasses are way off.

What's the big deal? It was his personal sex life, so why he is he being chastized? Isn't that what you liberals were saying about Clinton?

Anonymous said...

I flippin' hate Fox News.

Nice try. Not the same as Clinton.

Latest: Foley was turned away drunk from the pages' dorm.

Anonymous said...

At least Clinton had somebody willing (of legal age, too!) to have sex with him other than his ball and chain. Bush only has vehicular homicide Laura to knock boots with. Hope they only do it in the missionary position, lest you incur god's wrath!

3:10 - are you kidding - there is absolutely no comparison to Clinton. Was Clinton morally correct - hell no. Was he legally correct - 2 consenting adults. Foley - 50 something - pages - teens something. Get real. This guy is way sick and now looking for excuses to cover his ass - which, by the way, he wants young men to have.

Wordkle ... When are you going to say ... "Lets all pray for Foley's recovery?"

Come on and take the Republican highway just like Rush.

Wha--?

I guess you haven't read my previous posts about Foley.

Anonymous said...

wordkyle we've read enough of your shilling and apologistic crap to know where you stand: give the repugs a pass on everything and anything while pointig at the dems.

Not one shred of integrity or decency.

You haven't read enough of my posts, or you'd know I've condemned Foley more than once for his behavior. As to where I "stand," my position's a little more complex than your simplistic description, but I'll let it pass, as I realize you're doing the best that you can.

And fortunately I don't count on "anons" for my standards of integrity or decency.

But I do want to encourage you to keep trying.

Anon 8:30, I wasn't comparing this to the actions of Clinton. I was comparing the hypocricy of the way that liberals defended Clinton. They were saying it was no big deal because it was his private life. Try to keep up.
