Basically, its an autogiro--a concept that has been around for a long time. Interesting take on the idea, though.
Larry is also a wonderful home builder and remodeler. He has been around Wise county a long time and is a great asset to our communities.
It works so well because the top rotor is not powered, lessening the drain on gas/other resources. It was cool when he landed that thing.
Won't this add to global warming?
nope - those rotors will be like a bunch of ceiling fans .... probably will reverse global warming
When Al Gore endorses it, then I will buy one.
