So American Airlines gave away free tickets at the basketball game the other day?
Southwest Airlines strikes back by giving away, on all of its flights, free......BOOZE.

Two drinks in the thirty minute ride to Austin? that will get me likkered up.
Nothing like INVITING obnoxious drunks on a flight. People who don't normally drink on a flight - will - just because it's free. This is the dumbest promotion I ever heard of!
I bet ya that $91 million is gonna come up missing.
Yet they won't let you get ON the plane if you've been drinking. You can only get drunk while in the air so that you can then get in a rental car once you arrive and go kill a family on the road.
I hope ATF people go on board and arrest everyone ..

You guys wear me out. A couple of drinks from Dallas to Austin or San Antonio will NOT cause all kinds of destructive behavior. Odds are the attendants won't have time to bring a second drink anyway.
And here's a news flash - not everyone who has a drink immediately goes out and kills families in their car. It just ain't true. Give me a logical argument and we'll continue the discussion.
There is nothing wrong with having a cocktail or two on a short flight....but, 2 drinks is over the legal limit to drive - we are talking about two of the little bottles that they give you with a cup of ice and mix of preference. You'll be buzzed...it's the law~~don't drink and drive...that's logical huh?
7:55 - in most cases you're wrong. Two drinks in an hour will not put most people over the .08 limit for driving. Small women might want to stop at one drink. Other factors like amounts of food eaten while drinking will also enter in. But in most all cases, two drinks won't drive you over the limit. Then most people can have one more drink per hour and still pass the test.
Give me a Couple of Drinks ...
And I will be pinching the Flight Attendants Ass ...
