Yes, a man was arrested last week in Decatur for "rubbing himself" on a slide in a park. The bad news is that the most he can be charged with is a Class C Misdemeanor (Disorderly Conduct) punishable only by a fine up to $500.
Not to get graphic, but the facts are that he rubbed himself
over the clothes. Nothing was exposed. With that, you get yourself a Class C - the equivalent of a traffic ticket.
Don't yell at the cops. Don't yell at the prosecutor. Don't yell at the judge. They are bound by the law and that's what the law is.

This is wrong, very wrong...inside clothes outside clothes...what does it matter. The sicko was watching kids rubbin' himself and trying to get his rocks off....Maybe he should be strung up by his ball as well. I HATE PEDOPHILES!!!!!
You are right to be sickened 9:52, but the law is the law! sometimes, it ain't RIGHT!
maybe he had jock itch. i had pedophiles too, but there has to be a limit. i just hope i never have to adjust myself in public, or i might go to jail it appears.
11:09... I think you are missing the point. The guy was hiding and watching, not just ajusting himself. If they arrested every man that "adjusted himself" in public, the first guys to go would be all the pro baseball players we see on the TV!
or every redneck wise countian male/shemale inside Walmart-all whom are related nonetheless.
Does not seem like you could be arrested for that, but to be noticed by someone indicates there was a certain amount of lewdness inherent in his action. That must be the basis, otherwise you would have to arrest every girl riding horseback, would you not?
Should we arrest women whose breasts are pushed up and hanging out?
To those of you who apparently don't see the importance, I hope your children never have to come into contact with anything like this. To 11:09: How many men do you know go to a slide on a playground to "adjust himself", etc???
What if he just had bad timing to get, you know, a morning effect and was trying to actually hide behind something as to NOT embarrass himself. What if it had nothing to do with the fact it was in a park with kids? Will be an interesting case if it is marginal...not far from being arrested because of thoughts. And wouldn't we all like to have our minds scanned for impure thoughts?
good points 10:10 - I'd like to fix this man's "adjustment" problem with a sharp knife.
Hey 10:10. LOTS of men adjust themselves while at playgrounds. When you stand up and sit down repeatedly while hanging out at the park, or crawl around with kids a couple of adjustments is a normal requirement. And hiding behind something is more discreet than say, doing it like a typical baseball player or rock star.
Jock itch, evil thoughts and adjustment problems.
Think how confusing this would be to a jury if this sicko were hauled into court.
And I hope he gets caught. The sooner the better.
Yeah, all good comments, and nobody on this board is defending anyone that's a proven pedophile...but the circumstances on this one...how in the world do you convict? Fully clothed, public place, scratching his clothing. Who's to prove that the "you know what" was even in the spot he was touching?
Well, the guy was arrested. At least somebody in law enforcement got a name so the jerk can be watched.
