MAKES you wonder how the average savings rate percapita can go negative for the first time since 1933 and betting increases. Can anyone say CHAAARRRGGGEEE IT!!?

We don't have gambling in Texas...well, except the lottery and horse racing. Kind of like saying "I have never, ever had sex...except last Saturday and on Tuesday nights during 2005."

Lots of hypocrisy. If Texas would just hang on to the dollars that cross our borders to casinos...would pay for schools. And we get the social problems back home anyway, and still have to pay for those.

Who Cares?

Relevant people care about issues and express opinions. Meth addicts tend not to care about much.

Amen Anon 11:05

The State of Texas is retarded by letting all of this money get away. A lot of financial problems could be solved by allowing gambling in this State. Even if it was regulated more thoroughly than the other states it would still be a financial asset.

Yea, Right. Regulate gambling. Soon someone like Phil King would come along and push for deregulation of gambling, just like electric and cable TV companies. That's how we got in this mess to start with!
