Trump Just Moments Ago

This should all makes us feel comfortable that a man with a hairpin emotional trigger is already talking about ramping up the nukes.

"a hairpin emotional trigger" - Know him personally, do you?

Or, as proof do you want to use the fact that he responds to antagonists via Twitter -- rather than use the mainstream media, the White House social media, or propaganda/interviews in friendly forums. What's to be made of Obama appearing between the ferns? Or slow jamming the news? Those seem to be more indicative of emotional instability than tweeting.

@wordkyle

I guess use up the "but Obama!" comebacks while you still can.

1129 - No, not really. It's more a question of our host's ability (or lack thereof) to determine who is emotionally fit enough to discuss nukes.

I feel as comfortable with the situation as I did with any of the other US presidents. Donald Trump is no different. He is a man, duly elected, with enough worldly experience to oversee our arsenal of deadly weapons.

How would you feel about Clay Poyner as President? Or Steve Sanford? How about Don Majka? I actually think it is more fun to speculate how our local leaders would rise to the challenge of the presidency.

So far, Trump has reached out to the other side, gathered his cabinet, and reiterated his agenda. All indications are he is taking a solid, balanced, logical approach to the mantle of power.

For the good of the American people and our society, God bless our new president.

Haven't seen Obama go on any Twitter tirades over SNL, so...

This term is going to be so much fun. Trump being an idiot and WK using Obama and Clinton references to defend the idiot rather than addressing the real problem: the man is simply not fit to do the job he's signed up for.

All of you libtards do realize that every bit of this crap was also said about Reagan, right?

Every damn day, the democrats were saying Reagan would nuke the world, and start WWIII.

At least get some new material.

I think our host is as qualified you are wordkyle to comment on Trump and I trust his assessment of Trump as much as yours. Any way please, right now, stop the Obama comebacks. We had to listen to you constant harping when Greenie would hold up Bush to compare what Obama was doing. On occasion comparing Presidents is valid , but as you yourself pointed out many times, often it is not. And truly do you not see anything a little uneasy about the President of the U.S. tweeting an emotional response to a negative review of one of his business in a fashion magazine? Its one thing to respond to critics , every politican does, but being so thin-skinned as instantly jump at a magazine article such as this should at least give one cause to wonder a little. After all do you really think Reagan or either Bush or Carter or even Nixon would have thrown out the constant emotional tweets Trump does if they had tweeter back then?

" the man is simply not fit" - You guys keep trying to say that, in different ways. Trump's been in the public eye for forty years without any major scandals. He's a successful businessman, with -- as 12:06 so eloquently put it -- enough worldly experience to oversee our arsenal of deadly weapons.

I realize that in a world where a community organizer with no practical real-life experience is awarded the Nobel Prize for being historic, and celebrated with children singing paeans to him because he won an election, you might not be easily impressed. You might be desperately trying to retain some self-respect because your side, from state legislatures to governorships to Congress to the White House, was so soundly trounced in the last election. I realize that when reality savagely destroys your air of superiority, you may feel compelled to lash out with crazy accusations and demented opinions. You may seek protection from the harsh real world by tossing out pique-fueled rants.

But regular people who can still think recognize snowflakes when they see them. Snowflakes are inherently insubstantial, lightweight things, not to be regarded as being anything more.

105 - Are you totally deranged? Do you not believe that politicians fight back against political attacks with every weapon at their disposal? As an amateur politician Trump has not built up the network of surrogates, both political and in the media, who will do the dirty fighting for him. The Republican machine, which would normally assume that role, did everything it could to destroy him. Trump uses the tool that is most readily available.

12:57, that is exactly right.

Give the man a chance.. Everyone is bitching about what he wants to do. Build a wall on the border. Well that was started a long time ago. We have fences and barriers up and down the border right now. I don't remember hearing any bitching when they built those. Trump just wants to expand on them and make them better. Bush put in place a Muslim registry. Don't remember any bitching about that, but Trump wants to do the same thing and expand on it but again more bitching.. But good old Obama killed that Today.

No you just see Obama making statements like he did today about Fox News and Rush Limbaugh so what's the difference?

JD Clark will be president in 12 years😉

"Trump's been in the public eye for forty years without any major scandals."

Oh Wordy, you never fail to bring the lulz. Trump has a laundry list of scandals. Marla Maples, Casino bankruptcy, eminent domain battle in Scotland trying to throw a man off his farm because it was an eyesore, Trump fighting Scotland over a windfarm, grabbing women by the pussy, not paying contractors, not paying taxes, Trump University fraud, calling radio stations using a pseudonym to promote himself... the list goes on and on and on.
