All one has to do is read th paper or watch the news to understand his statement,Screw being politically corect.Worse statement ever invented in this world.
Too bad people can't have an opinion anymore......however non-PC it may be. We're so busy tiptoeing around everyone's feelings these days, we're going to tap dance right over a cliff.
I propose a law that any woman or man who chooses to have a hyphenated last name loses all civil rights and must be cast outside the walls of the city to allow the digs to lick their wounds.
I see this as positive advertising for him. I'm more apt to hire this guy than one that runs a liberal website.
It's difficult to understand how some of you can seriously take the position of defending those statements.
A public servant, with an incredible amount of discretionary power over people, in the scope of his employment, making statements that clearly reflect that he may treat people differently b/c of their race. Add to that the fact that he works for an elected official.
Even if you could get past some of the statements b/c of their context, you can't get past his stupidity in saying them within the earshot of people that would object to them.
If you keep him, every non-white defendant would bring up his bias as part of their defense. That could make him somewhat worthless as a prosecutor.
If you don't understand why he can't say things like that within the scope of his employment, you also may not understand why you've been fired so many times.
