An Aggie Lawyer?

Link.

I wonder what this does to tuition rates? Is this now a "public" law school? And wasn't the absence of a public law school in DFW the reason for the scheduled opening on UNT's Law School in August of 2014.

Good grief. If you think there are too many lawyers now . . . .

Except now that law degree will be the equivalent of a GED.

They've been trying to get a law school for years. UH shut them down in their attempted take over of STX College (cough) of Law back in 1998/99, saying that they were THE public law school in Houston. It seems they'd rather take over a mediocre (at best) school than to start one from scratch.

Oh great a Methodist Aggie Lawyer.......nothing worse than a religous lawyer.

yes, there are way too many lawyers but then when our country is run over with greed why wouldn't everyone want to join the only group that can "legally" rape, rob and pillage. I wish there was an open season for lawyers just like deer, ducks & quail. I assure you I would hunt out of season. The world would be a much much better place.

WHAT!! I guess I'm missing something here. I know several lawyers that went to A&M. Did they not receive their degree from that school?

It pains me to say this as I am an Aggie. The TWC lawyers I have known over the years reminded me of the stereotypical Corp Turds I knew in school. ie: our first county attorney from the "R" party and his sidekick.

A&M has been trying this for years. About 12 years ago, they were ready to sign on the dotted line with Houston's stand-alone South Texas College of Law.

I don't know what that would do to the public/private thing.

It matters greatly, because obviously public schools are subject to all sorts of rules that private ones are not.

Is this the answer to the question no one asked?

Was the person convicted last week named Foley akin to an Ethan Foley that used to live on Wise County?

To 11:44 AM--those Aggie lawyers got their undergraduate degree from A&M, but went to law school elsewhere.

Have you heard one of Sandusky's adopted son was set to go on the stand and admit he was sexually abused by Sandusky, if Sandusky took the stand? Sandusky's attornies heard the son's tape and decided not to call Sandusky to the stand. Wow, he adopted 4 other sons too. What lousey man. Hope he did not pass it on to all the sons.

Sharp is confident the money can be raised.. Hell he needs to work on raising more scholarship money to help paid for my kids education... A&M is not cheap...

Look on the bright side folks, this will create a whole new catagory of jokes by combining Aggie jokes and lawyer jokes.

Why couldn't the Aggie lawyer catch the ambulance he was chasing? Because his tractor was too slow.

with at the Turtle.

Has anyone checked to see if Lee Jackson stroked out when this news broke? Probably not a happy office at UNT Administrative Headquarters right now.

Didn't they get the memo about how there are too many lawyers. There are enough Aggies with law degrees from other schools as it is. Give them their own degree and they will be insufferable.

Who cares about this lawyer talk. What kind of football team will Wesleyan have next year?

I'm worried about the offensive side of the ball, it looks like they'll have plenty of defense.

I have been in two courthouses when someone started shooting at lawyers. Haven't heard a funny lawyer joke since then.

More lawyers should just increase competition - and lower prices? Anyway the lousy ones will go broke and move back in with their parents.
