I'm sorry to hear of her untimely death, but honestly, I can't think of a single song she performed. She starred with Kevin Costner in "The Bodyguard" -- not much of a flick in my estimation -- and she married a guy named Bobby Brown. That's all I can remember.
Wasn't it Hypoctrites who figured out how to accurately weigh out cocaine using the principle of displacement? Eureka, he said, jumping from a tub of water, I've got it!
We really don't understand the hardships endured by professional musicians (among other artists) - talent is only a part of it - these folks have to be "up" all the time for their audiences - look good, sound good, feel good - it is a HUGE drain on their bodies and emotions. Poor Whitney, was aready frail in her personal life. I feel sorry for her daughter. This is a horrible loss to the music world. She had one of the most beautiful natural vocal talents I've ever heard.
11:19 and 11:45 - you are insensitive biggots. and 11:01, politics has NOTHING to do with sick individuals who are struggling against the perils of drugs.
Someone said on here, "for the life of me I can't understand why we don't legalize drugs"......
..well, I don't know about that, but people who make such rude, crude comments about a highly confused, gifted woman who is dead just don't know when THEY might experience the same tragedies in their own families.
5:29, I think the common thought on the subject is that man-discovered drugs that have an immediate detrimental affect on our bodies has had a profound set-back to a lot of unsuspecting people. Some people are predisposed to become addicted after one use. If it's this bad while campaigns are trying to keep our kids from falling victim to barbituates, hallucinagens, and other mind altering drugs, how could anyone campaign to make them more accessable? And for what? For tax usage? With that school of thought, every medicine company would be feverishly working to create more addictive drugs so we can tax them.
I am with 9:16. It's all about choices. Whitney chose drugs while Michael chose to be a freak. Both had the world by the balls and threw it all away. The only good to come out of it; 2 less voters for Obama.

The world, she is a'changin'!
However, the drugs will still plague us all.
Sadness......
Drug overdose.
I wonder if Whitney wanted turf in Eagle Stadium.
Hey Barry,
Have I missed it or have you not posted anything on the missing FW girl? What are your thoughts?
For the life of me.....I can't figure out why we don't legalize drugs.
It is so sad to see someone who had fame, talent, beauty and wealth waste it all.
She butchered a beautiful Dolly Parton song.
The world lost the two fine fine negrah women in that picture way too soon.
9:53 Get Real!
Whitney Houston won an impressive six Grammys in fourteen years.
Slightly less impressive was her recent attempt at six grams in fourteen minutes.
Two people who wasted their special gifts...very sad.
One less Obama supporter.
Maybe there'e hope for the species after all

And now the coverup begins.
They both comitted suicide the liberal way, with drugs, not guns.
Just another dead Neegrah.
Typical...
Hmmmm
All aboard the soul train..
3...2..1... on drug and alcohol comments from hypoctrites
Such a waste of a beautiful & talented woman.
I wonder if her publicist will fax a press release to the Mess?
See... If we legalize it....less people will get hurt by it. Because....the only reason people take drugs is because they are illegal.
I mean, we legalized alcohol and no one ever drinks and drives.
Legalize it so more will GTFO

Crack is Whack..
I say make it legal and let natural selection sort it out.
I agree with 12:30 - a waste of talent.

Rest in Peace now, Whitney.

Some of us have.
It hurts forever!
Shame on these posters.

Was drugz r alkeyhol involved ?
What many of you "oh poor Whitney" folks are ignoring is that her addiction started with a choice.
Her choice to start using.
"But, "being an entertainer is such a hard life.." BS!
She made more money in a year than most of us would see in 10 lifetimes and had the world on a platter.
She threw it away for nothing.
I hereby nominate her for the 2012 Darwin awards.. she's done a great service taking herself out of the gene pool.
The Rhome "Zero Tolerance for Drugs" sign would have saved her!

Whitney said it herself I'm either my best friend or my worst enemy.
ONE LESS OBAMMY VOTER
9:16 - likely the same will be said of you when you die and are out of the gene pool.
