I think the
Bridgeport Index got it a little wrong because the west of Wise County
will be included in the newly realigned 13th congressional district. (Assuming no legal challenges.) And take a look at that map below. We'll be lucky to
ever see the congressman for that district.
(Be careful of that guy in the tie. He looks a little shady.)
Wise County is in the blue outlined box. The proposed new 13th district goes all the way to the panhandle. Man, that's a lot of land.
The brand new 33rd district takes Decatur and loops through Parker County and into Arlington in Southern Tarrant County. I don't think we'll have much clout there, either.

What's the over-under on how many times we see Mac Thornberry in a year? Long way from Clarendon (his homebase).
My Other Brother Darryl
I guess we are now considered to live in the "panhandle".

Holy hell--- Simpson has a Republican on his payroll?

A lot of land, but not a lot of people.
Rage
I didn't get a 'harrumph' from that guy.
Harrumph.
King & Williamson - Birds of a feather.
And if you don't believe it,12:58just ask him. He will tell you how wonderful he is.
Harrumph!
Splitting Wise county between districts is just flat dumb, much less representing the needs of Bridgeport and Alvoid the same as Dalhart.
Harrumph!!!!!
(Sometime the affairs of state take precedence over the . . . uh . . . affairs of state.)
"I was just walking the parapet....how can I help you?"
"What's the matter you.....can't you see that man is a Ni?"
1:05- if it makes you feel better, Simpson probably doesn't pay him much since he is so cheap....
Wasn't it nice to see Bettye all dressed up for the photo?
Damn Barrister, I guess you really didn't like me picking in your boy Williamson. You wouldn't post many of the comments I made.
