I couldn't agree more.
I doubt the teasips will be worthy of a number 4 ranking by the end of the year. I think they will be number 3, in the Big 12 South!
They will lose to Nebraska, UCLA, Oklahoma and Aggies.
Offense will be their downfall. New QB will get smashed early and often, no great running back, no great receiver, line with some injuries equals strugggggling.

Many of us detest this time of the year....both for the miserable heat and for the miserable dribble we are forced to wade through concerning sports to get to anything of real value and interest.

Texas doesn't deserve to be on the cover.
Just because no one has a better winning percentage over the past decade, doesn't mean they're any good.
They only won their national championship because they had a good team. Otherwise, the would not have won.
I don't care if they sell magazines and generate more money than any other college, that doesn't mean it makes economic sense to put them on the cover.
When you think about it, all they do is consistently win 10+ games a year. Is that really success? No way.
Who really cares where you or the magazines rank college teams? The game is played on the field by kids doing their best. Rankings are meaningless.
