Note to law enforcement: always assume you're being videotaped and photographed. Just ask Massachusetts State Police Sergeant William Nasuti who posed for pictures that were eventually posted on facebook.
I support police/law enforcement but it sure looks like they have some serious problems going on in Fort Worth, maybe need to take a look at their hiring practices, qualifications, etc. Everyone that stood and watched this should have been fired immediately; spare me the "we didn't see what happened before this" line either, this guy was clearly handcuffed, under control of the officers, and not a threat to them! Weed out the bad apples so you can bring respect and a positive reputation back to the department.
Sad thing is, it's not just in Fort Worth, Deputy Dog. The mentality of a "police office" is the same in every city, town, state, etc. Some of them are just smarter than others and realize they are being videotaped.
Except for Mayberry. Andy and Barney would never act like that.
There was nothing right about what happened in that video. Everyone in that room or who passed through it should be fired.I don't care what he said to offend the officers, thats part of the job. For only 120k they are getting off cheap. What if they killed the guy? For what, talking bad to someone? Are you kidding me? And if I was him I would be questioning my Lawyer also. The whole thing really stinks, and to think they can't do anything to the officers involved because its past a certain period to file a complaint! So wrong!
Been this way forever - but have to be a little smarter now with cameras everywhere. Everyone in that room that walked by should be fired. Apparently this is a common occurance and didn't even raise any alarm. He was handcuffed and helpless. What a bunch of bullies that get off on inflicting pain. Makes them feel like a big man I am sure and they probably got a small rise in their pants from the excitment.

I'm fairly confident he said something offensive about the officer's mother.
That, folks, is a $120,000.00 throw-down. But also note at the end of the article, where he's starting to turn on his own attorney. Stay tuned ...

Im not sure that EVERY police officer has that same mentality.
In fact, I know they do not.
On December 21 2012 we'll all get slammed to the floor.

If a cop, or anybody else did that to me while I was handcuffed, a lawsuit would be pretty far down the list of his punishments.
Know what I mean?
looks like the cop has a severe case of little man syndorome. a lot of cops are like this
