I'll admit, I'm normally tough on cops, but this is enough to make me want up to Massachusetts and defend this guy.

Can we not just give him credit for community service? According to the report he did his job and then posed for a couple of pictures. Maybe he should just be an ass to everyone, cops are in a lose-lose with the public anyway.

Ridiculous. Friendly police officers take pics with citizens all the time. EVERY police officer in New Orleans during Mardi Gras would have pictures like this, with beers in hand or "worse". How many thousands of kids and goofy bastards get pics taken with the mounted cops in New York City while on vacation, or downtown Fort Worth on a Friday night, etc. etc. Joke that this cop is under scrutiny.
Guess they never heard of "community policing" up there. The officer could have left them all on the side of the road waiting on someone to come help them then came back later to find raped/dead bodies! That will teach him to be nice and try to create some rapport with the local kids!
