The fact the guy made it to the Presidency just shows how gulable the American people are. P.T. Barnum was right!

Oh Crap!! Here we go again. look people, if you want to blame somebody for all that's wrong in Washington blame the damn Congress and I don't care whose in the White House. If he veto's a Liberal Bill they can still pass it because they can over-ride it but all you ever hear is Bush Vetoed it. Everything works how Congress wants it to work from their not having to pay social security like we all have to pay, to gas prices to the war in Iraq, to saying "no" to Lobbyist. You can't blame the whole damn situation on Bush and you won't be able to blame 21% interest on mortgages when Obama get's elected, Lord help us all. The U.S. Congress has America where they want us, believing it's everyones fault but their own. It is their fault people, you can't blame one guy for the whole frick'n mess. Research it on your own, learn the powers of the Congress then we can blame those rotten morons and hopefully replace them all, regardless of whether they are Dems. or Repubs.

Uh.......when are we going to see Hollywood make a movie trashing the Clintons?

It would be FAR more interesting than anything about Bush, Nixon, Carter, etc!

Sex, violence, nudity, corruption, cussing to the extreme = a very hard R rating!

The answer: They won't since Hollywood only makes it a point to trash Republicans!

(and of course the media has no bias against Republicans)

12:56 the American people are gulable because we had Clinton and Gore (inventor of the Internet) in the White House before we had Bush.
Actually, Clinton had Bush in the White House before President Bush was elected to the Presidency by gulable Americans. Does that make sense, are we clear?

Oliver Stone is right there with that treasonous sell out Michael Moore in my book. He glamorizes drugged up rockers (The Doors) while doing all he can to undermine American leadership. I can't wait for his effort to help us understand and empathize with the motivations of Osama Bin Laden for being a cold, soulless (is that how you spell that?), bloodthirsty, amoral murderer. If Oliver Stone's name is on a movie, that studio or distributor is not getting one cent of my money to support it.

I can't help but notice an interesting parallel between Bush's past and that of Josh Brolin, who is playing him:

Stone is making this movie over in Shreveport, and Brolin and the guy playing Colin Powell were recently arrested in a Shreveport bar after getting into a fight with some other patrons.

to 1:17 pm:
Bravo!
You are exactly right. You can point the finger at the whitehouse all you want, but it's your rep's in congress that are really screwing America over.

It's interesting that the approval rating for congress is in single digits, but it is expected that the majority of incumbents will retain their seats. "Throw the bums out-except, of course, our own personal bum..."

Hey, 1:17, have you forgotten "Primary Colors" ? ... or for that matter, "Wag the Dog"?

Did you just not "get" that these were parodies of Clintonian politics; or was it simply more convenient to ignore the fact that the "media" isn't nearly as biased as conservatives like to claim?

2:24---Primary Colors was about a man named Jack Stanton who looked like Bill Clinton and was governor of a small Southern state who ran for president (it was actually a parody). It was LOOSELY based on Clinton........and it wasn't meant to trash the Clintons either, even though Stanton was a little bit sleazy!

Wag the Dog had absolutely nothing to do with Clinton.

I want to see a movie about Bill and Hillary BY NAME.......and forget the bimbos....I want to see a movie about how he sat on his a$$ and did nothing about national security during the 1990s and made 9-11 inevitable!

Oliver Stone, BTW, is presenting this new film as the authoritative biography of George W. Bush, something Primary Colors never did with Clinton!

George W. Bush is not a good President; are you better off today than you were 8 years ago? He has not improved the world while he's been in the most powerful position in the world. Such a waste.

Good ol' deficit spending Dubya. He just loves giving those tax cuts while we're at war. Spend, spend, spend...cut taxes and spend some more!

2:54, please- George W. Bush has not been able to catch OBL since 9-11 - talk about sitting on his a$$ and doing nothing...oh, wait he did DO something he got us into an endless war based on bad info. That sure was helpful. I bet the 40,000+ US wounded or dead troops are glad Bush DID something.

The president is not responsible for the country's problem. Neither is the congress. Folks, YOU are responsible, no one else.

Two generations now have sat on their collective fat asses watching TV, neglecting to properly raise children, engaged in unprecedented materialism, and allowed a government to run amok.

You are all so concerned about this movie, that star, blah, blah, Blah. Corporate America has taken you to the cleaners because you put your brain in limbo and let them. Now you want to blame someone. Well, go make your final purchase EVER at Wally World. Get a mirror. Take it home and use it. Maybe then we can begin to restore our country. It starts at home.

Wow, look at all the conservatives coming out and defending Bush, and Wordkyle hasn't even made an appearance.

You Liberals can't stand it, I bet. More and more people are coming over the the Dark Side...lol

Love,
gern

I have no love for W. But, if Kerry or Gore had been elected, you would no longer have an INDIVIDUAL right to bear arms (private ownership of guns for you liberal sheep). That alone makes his presidency tolerable.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the person that commented at 3:10 is a very intelectual person. I can tell very quickly that this person has accomplished something very impressive in his/her lifetime.I would really like to hang ou with this person and learn the secret of life.

You speak the truth to power. The powerful who sit on their asses and accept the BS that Fox and Rush spews daily. We all need to be real men.
My vote goes to the candidate who called his wife a c**t in front of many others.
Go John McCain!
