Phoebe Cates is 33 44 Today

This should be a national holiday. For many guys across the nation, that 15 seconds of Fast Times at Ridgemont High may be the greatest moment in the history of film. How she didn't win an Oscar for that scene alone is a tragedy.

Barry, today's posts are a little lame. Do you have "tired head" after the Wes Hardy brouhaha? Or did you think a few gratuitous "chick shots" would divert attention from the lambasting you took over the now-famous hair-on-the floor post? In retrospect don't you think that one was kinda dumb? I know I feel a little bad about some of the nasty things I said to that poor guy. I heard he committed suicide.

Inasmuch as the film was released in 1982, was she only 8 in the famous swimming pool scene sir? Let's hope not.
