I understand political correctness. But why would the term "secretary" be nuked by the PC police? It's not racist, sexist, homophobic or any other ic or ist or ism. When did the term secretary become an insult? It's an accurate, honest, honorable word that is used to describe people at high levels of importance and responsibility. Corporate and organizational boards of directors have them, clubs and organizations have them. Heck a secretary is combined with treasurer sometimes. Nobody gets offended if they are called a treasurer of something. The President's cabinet is full of secretaries. Yet one day we woke up and it was trouble if you called someone making $8 an hour a secretary. Frankly, I don't like being called a boss. It has more odd meanings than secretary. Boss Hogg, mafia boss, pit boss, that car is boss. I am not a fat, Italian, gambling redneck. But we have a boss day and not a peep from anyone. I prefer "corporate leader". Make that "professional corporate leader", as if there could be any other kind. Let's call Hallmark and get this fixed.
How about "Annoying Professional Corporate Leader" for your special situation! I am sure your company is glad to have you, someone who spends his/her day typing "War and Peace" volumes of political correctness rants instead of doing your job.

Pretty fun reference.
Anon: I guess it's OK to make a dispariging remark against Italians??
That movie was the good kind of disturbing.
Great, now I'm going to be thinking about trees and rope ALL day long.
