With recent court rulings outlawing Christian expressions in public, and illegal immigrants given privileges above and beyond those given to citizens, all they would have to do is claim it's pronounced "hay-soos." Then everyone will be happy.
I love how politicians take it upon themselves to blatanlty ignore the whole church and state thing. It usually seems to happen at courthouses....hmmmm.
I totally forgot to get Jesus a present. Shit. Now he'll never get me anything when my birthday comes up.
think frustrated: "the whole church and state thing" -- meaning, of course, the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…
Or maybe Justice Joseph Story's majority opinion in Vidal v. Girard’s Executors (1844): “...the Christian religion is a part of the common law.”
Or maybe Justice William O. Douglas's opinion in Zorach v. Clauson (1952): "...We are a religious people and our institutions presuppose a Supreme Being...We cannot read into the Bill of Rights a philosophy of hostility to religion.”
The modern court's hostility to Christianity is a very recent (and un-Constitutional) invention.
Sheehan, Who is cherry picking? Where did kyle say the US was founded as a Christian nation? How is your blog working out. You sure have a lot of comments. NOT
The oh-so-clever wordplay is dazzling. I'm not quite sure how citing the U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court decisions qualifies as "cherry picking," though.
I just checked out Bluedaze, and checked out a close-up of SHA-Ron. She's a bit looooong in the tooth, and is coving an adam's apple. Good thing she's got hot opinions, because she's NOT-HOT.
To anonyNOTHING 9:14... You claiming someone is unattractive is tantamount to YOU calling someone STUPID because YOU seemingly are incapable of providing an IMPROVED alternative. Incidentally, txsharon is ATTRACTIVE and more than likely is far BETTER than ANYONE with whom you could EVER hope to share time.
BEFORE any of YOU haters slam someone's picture you bloody well need to post one of YOURSELF otherwise you appear to be nothing more than a mindless git.

Wouldn't that fall in the category with the ten comandments?
Is that allowed? Is the Supreme Court gonna come in and yell at them?

I love it when a liberal presidential candidate goes to the black churches and pimps for the black folk vote.
They have a nicer square, but this is why Jack is even more backwards than Wise County.

Well put Wordkyle
WordPyle: You're cherry picking again. The U.S. was not founded as a Christian nation.
But, honestly, you can't possibly be a religious person, especially a Christian. So, why do you care?
Can you link to a scientific study Sheehan?

2:03 anon: Not many comments but I sure get a lot of traffic and lots of lookers at my profile. heh
Wordpyle cherry picks, cuts and pastes, and then criticizes others who have a different ideology than his who do the same.

Those darn facts are inconvenient, aren't they?

YOU'RE WELCOME!
9:14 anon: That you don't find me hot is not a surprise to me considering that you appear to be quite homophobic. In fact, I consider it a compliment.
Thank you.
Did you say "bloody well" ? That's gross! I don't want to see either of our bloody wells!
I am standing in my seat Applauding :)
Sit down collection. We don't want you to fall and hurt yourself. We need you at the airport collecting fingernail clippers.
Hey MissChief , Why don't you show us your whole face? It would look a lot less pyscho than the corner shot you have posted. I hope it would anyway.
Hey 7:55, why don't you show us your face since you show your ignorant ass regularly, it would be nice to put a dumb ass with a face. heh
