That Arlington taxpayers are paying the freight is an overused and untrue argument. Yes, sales taxes in Arlington are being used, but that's because Arlington's sales tax rate has room under the cap to handle it. You pay no more sales tax in Arlington than you pay in most other Metroplex cities. Instead of a bus system that adds a half penny to the tax roll, Arlington gets the Cowboys for that same half penny. Plus, not just Arlington residents pay that half penny. A lot of visitors, baseball fans, and now football fans will be kicking in a ton of the money, and just like the baseball stadium the "bill" on the sales tax commitment will be paid off early.
I heard this morning that the tickets will start out at $90.00. But something tells me that they will have no problem filling this awesome stadium. After all, they are "America's Team" :)

ETYMOLOGY: Middle English, from Old French, from Latin religisus, from religi, religion ; see religion
OTHER FORMS: re·ligious·ly (Adverb), re·ligious·ness (Noun)
SYNONYMS: religious , devout , pious
These adjectives mean having or showing a belief in and veneration for God or a divine power, especially as it is reflected in the practice of religion. Religious implies adherence to religion in both belief and practice: The cathedral at Chartres is an expression of the religious fervor of the Middle Ages. Devout connotes ardent faith and sincere devotion: Devout Muslims observe Ramadan punctiliously. Pious stresses dutiful, reverential discharge of religious duties: a pious woman who attends Mass every morning.

WOW!
I like that they are kinda keeping the "hole-in-the-roof" thing going.
That is really amazing.

That is badass!!!!! Just wonder how expensive tickets are going to be?
I'm glad I don't live in Arlington where the tax payers are footing 40% of the bill for this $1 Billion entertainment center.
I am hoping Decatur's new football stadium is close to this.

... just think about how many people could be saved if that money was used to feed the poor.
I'm sending my christmas offering to the Dallas Cowboys this year.
