I know him and he is a very nice guy.
I know him too and he is not only a good guy but was a dairy farmer as was his dad for many many years. He would be extremely knowledgable on the subject of cows. Looks aren't always what they appear.
So...what's the story? Is he for or against cow cloning?

Butch said that we most likely could not tell if we ate meat that was from a cloned animal. We are eating meat from Test tube stock already. He also said that it would be to costly for the small family farmers to clone stock.

Throughout the United States more and more people are buying locally grown food in order to ensure the known origin of the food they are consuming.
I live in Dallas now and it was sure good to see someone who actually knows what the hell they are talking about on the news for a change. Butch is a GREAT guy. I'd trust anything he has to say about cows or Harley Davidsons.

It is pretty humorous to me that people are worrying about cloned beef or genetically altered plants. Most of us eat hot dogs, packaged foods, etc. The hormones and other growth drugs that they give beef cattle, poultry and the other "stuff" that they add to packaged food may be what we should really concerning ourselves.
The guy knows nothing about cloning.
