Todd Heisler - 2006 Pulitzer Prize Winner for Feature Photography

Explained: When 2nd Lt. James Cathey’s body arrived at the Reno Airport, Marines climbed into the cargo hold of the plane and draped the flag over his casket as passengers watched the family gather on the tarmac. (Other photos by him, including a larger version of this one, are here.)

Thank you, Barry.

Hey SHeehan, Hitler did not pose a threat to us either, but we did the right thing didn't we? How many lives were wasted in WWII?

Duh! Any war is a waste of lives. But I guess since President Bush is part of this one it makes this war different than any other. Geeeeez..

Duh! greta! When a war is based on lies and manipulation of the facts, the lives lost are even more tragic because they are COMPLETELY unnecessary losses.

3:53, interesting that you have changed you tactics now. Previously you claimed that Iraq was a threat. Small slow baby steps.

Hey SHeehan, I was using your own logic against you. Glad you took the bait.

My father served 3 tours of duty in Viet Nam. He passed away 14 years ago from CLL (Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia). CLL has been proven to be caused by Agent Orange. (See: http://www1.va.gov/AgentOrange/).
Is my family bitter? No. Do we blame politicians? No.

Our warriors are true heroes. Why turn this beautiful tribute into a political battle? It serves no purpose and demeans the loss of these families.

Better that he was unloaded by the Marines instead of the SCABS that took over RNO after AA pulled the plug and contracted it out not so long ago.

Any war is tragic to say the least.
Being politically motivated, I'm sure somehow in some way they were all based on lies and manipulation of the facts too.

xocheeta: Truth helps our warriors.

Don't blame the politicians. Hold them responsible for making poor decisions. Hold them responsible for their lies. Only then can we be sure that our warriors are not misused.

I am sorry for your loss.

8:50 & 8:54 So, you obviously believe that wrongs were committed and they went unpunished. By your logic, since wrongs in the past went unpunished, we should leave all wrongs unpunished.

That seems to be the only argument you are capable of presenting. You have no interest in solving problems so I have no interest in you.

WOW! So let's punish President Bush for all the wrongs in the world, past, present and future.
