Radio personality Paul Harvey (who used to be interesting before everyone had access to the same news he does) said a second ago that it would be 136 degrees in Iraq today.
I seriously doubted that so I looked it up.
The graphic from CNN indicates that the old guy wasn't exactly right but its still hot.

I'm breakin a sweat....just thinking about the 120 temp!!!!
I hope our guys are drinking plenty of water!
It can get so hot in Iraq that to protect the nerves in fingers from being damaged by the heat it is advised to curl fingers into the palm and tuck the thumb into the fingers.
Yeah, but its a DRY heat, man! (I don't think that would make any difference to me--WAY to hot!!)
All more reason to support our soldiers.
Even tho Paul Harvey greatly exaggerated (nothing new there) the temps, it sure is hot in Iraq. No wonder our poor troops don't want to wear that body armor. Let's just declare we've done what we can, pull our troops out of there and tell the Iraqis to grow up and start taking care of themselves. Maybe their first task should be to render unto Saddam a just penalty for his past transgressions.

Do you ever find friends snickering to one another when you speak in this manner, My Lord?
