What's that old saying (and New Testament biblically correct)--hate/reject/disapprove of the sin, but love the sinner. I'm mainstream Southern Baptist, and extremist nuts like these make everyone look bad!
What a huge loss for America to lose someone with so much talent, skill, and patriotism. The 'Don't Ask Don't Tell Policy' is ridiculous. Isn't it time everyone get with the program and join the real world? We must all become more tolerant and accept each other for who we truly are and respect each other's differences, whether it is religion, sexual preferance, or if we like paper or plastic. What difference does it make????
You should not be forced into situation where you are naked in front of people that might view you as a sexual object. In a locker room, in a barracks, etc. it is unfair for men or women to have gays or lesbians in their naked presence without their knowledge. It IS different, and should not be allowed. What about "straight" rights????????
AMAZING! I cannot help but wonder HOW that man came to believe by fostering HATE/FEAR in his heart so deep seated that spending his time standing outdoors in inclement weather attempting to persuade others to join him in HIS hatred could make ANYTHING better.

But I don't think you should be FORCED to take your clothes off in front of people that see your penis, vagina, bumhole, mouth as something OTHER than a biological necessity. Is my argument not the very basic reason why men can't go strolling through women's locker room showers, and vice versa? You missed my point. I really hope there ever comes a time when a man looks at me and wants me to infiltrate his anus, thank you.
The 9:55's of the world scare me. Do you really think this guy spends that much time in common showers with the kinds of skills he has and the time he has served? Wouldn't the basic training part be over and done with long ago?
2ndly, do you really think that every person sees everyone in their prefered sex in a sexual way? Don't you think that when they are showering, they are probably thinking more about cleaning their own bodies rather than checking out the nakedness of the people they serve with? Aren't you assuming that gay/lesbians are perverts? Nothing could be further from the truth.
This mentality (or lack thereof) is what paralyzes Americans.

And with the rest of the time they could be using their skills.......even dying for their country.
Sensitivity about showering in common showers should have been
conquered say back about the 7th grade.
