I Loves Me Some Brevity

The first place Texas Rangers won again tonight. The most impressive thing is that the game took exactly 120 minutes to play. We need more games like that. But only 23,771 attended on Memorial Day with no school tomorrow?

Yeah, that works out to about $2.50 per MINUTE for a family of four with great seats that pay to park and buy a few concessions. So when the pitcher throws to first a couple of times to keep a runner honest...that'll be $2.50 please. Or when they play the 7th inning stretch music...that's about $5 bucks right there. And when the manager goes out to the mound, takes the ball, and brings the new pitcher in....about 10 bucks right there.

My family went for $38 including food the other night. We got their early and didn't pay to park. We had a great time. If you know where/how to get your tickets and where to eat. You just have to be thrifty-minded about it.

Pardon the grammatical errors in my previous post. I got a little trigger happy with the "enter" button.
