its not just christians in this world letting people starve . if there were more christians maybe this wouldnt be happening. and by the way God does have a hand in everything and he is just waiting for christians to step up and do something. he is faithful and has Not forgotten these people.
God has provided all things, and it is appointed unto men once to die then the judgement. We, as in all human race have done this to ourselves, God lets us choose how, be it a motorcycle running at top speed down 114 or 380, or getting drunk and driving in traffic, or drug overdose, ornot taking care of our own, its your choice.
9:08...watch "Devil's Advocate"...just a hollywood movie, yes, but very eye opening and accurate...it's all about free will, God didn't make us robots. Just watch it...it's great!
An interesting point someone made about "famines". They almost always occur in a country where there is fighting going on. The weather may also be bad, but that alone usually doesn't cause a famine. Shows the need for peace in these countries.
AHEM! Trust me, not only do famines not occur because there is war, my God would NEVER starve to death innocent humans because there was NOT peace. Often times there is rebellion in countries with famine because rebels are attempting to overthrow corrupt governments that have failed at all levels the people who suffer from the mismanagement of their nation's meager resources and assets. Sub-Saharan Africa has ALWAYS suffered through famines because the majority of the area consists of UNARABLE land! Millions of years of global societal evolution clearly indicate that if an area cannot support a civilization that civilization will either migrate or die. Due to the fact the modern world maintains national boarders most people in deprived countries have no other option but to die.
Incidentally, an estimated 4-6 MILLION North Koreans have starved to death in the past decade. During the past 10 years the World Food Program has spent in excess of $1.7 BILLION dollars feeding the people of North Korea. Giving a man a fish ONLY feeds him for TODAY. That man will be hungry again tomorrow and there are only so many fish to give away. Throwing money at a country to feed its people is NOT the answer to keeping people from starving to death.

Or, maybe God should feed that child somehow, eh? Can't have it both ways Christians...either God has a hand in EVERYTHING or he does not.
You're not getting the point 9:08PM.
There are people starving here too.
You're exactly right, 9:13! But they're not white either, so we let them starve, too. Plus, as has been said before poor people are just lazy.

Thank you Barry for that post. It says a lot about you.
Well, I feel better knowing that child chose to be hungry!

Not god, not the devil, but man!
