There is a letter to the editor today in the Messenger complaining of a uni-sex bathroom in the new Lowe's in Decatur.
Didn't quite understand it. I don't think guys and gals are supposed to be in there at the same time, nor does the thought sound particularly enticing.

Just as I thought - everything is slightly smaller, weirder, or even creepy in Decatur - your Super Walmart was definitely creepy - haven't been there much since they "remodeled" it....darkly depressing - have they fixed that part yet? Have not gone to the Bowie one at all, because that town is totally creepy. I guess I won't be going to Lowe's in Decatur unless I relieve myself first, or I'll just keep going to Home Depot in Gainesville. Glad I live in the middle.......I get a kick out of all of it. Oh yeah, your theater, if it's still there was totally gross when we went to see one of the Lord of the Rings movies - I'll drive to the Rave in Lake Dallas/Corinth before I go back there, or I'll wait for it to come out on Netflix.
Well, if you think that badly about Decatur, then stay in Gainesville. I from the big G'ville and that town is NASTY! They actually have a "ghetto", Decatur doesn't. I have lived here for only a couple of years and I LOVE IT even the uni-sex bathroom, which is not what you think, go there first.
Is there more than one stall?
For the more family oriented, you normally see a "third bathroom" for parents to take their children for changing purposes, etc.. Haven't been to the Lowe's bathroom area, but maybe that is the intent.
Funny how a national and positive image company can open here and provide a valuable service, not to mention valuable sales tax dollars and the best someone can do is complain about a restroom.
5:34...seriously?
I don't get out alot but I have seen the unisex bathrooms at Kohls. I have never been in one but same here I figured it is for the father that has the little girl or the mom that has the little boy that needs to use the bathroom. I personally wish they had them when my kids were growing up there is that age you can't take them into the opposite bathroom but you don't want them going in by themselves either.
why does the world evolve around the kids?!?! That is stupid! If they don't like it, they can hold, or too bad!
It's for families with kids, for crying out loud. And they are very, very appreciated when needed.
What is wrong with you people? It's a restroom for cryin' out loud. Who cares?? And 11:47...in a sense, yes, the world does revolve around kids. Something tells me you probably were one once.
