As the State of the Union begins (yawn), at no other time are members of our federal government all in the same place at the same time. All Senators, all Representatives, the President's cabinet, the Supreme Court, the Vice President and the President himself.
What chaos it would be if there was a terrorist attack.

My goodness, get a sense of humor people. I'm a conservative Republican, but Barry's point has nothing to do with "liberalism" or "conservativism". It's one of those observations that does make you think (and hope they are all protected)!!
There is always one cabinet member who is not there. Any you right wingers should worry - a lot of democrats weren't there either.
The stupid one would be the one who watched the State of Union only to gripe about it.
Politics can truly bring out the worst in people--good grief! If you want someone to listen to your ideas, present it in a dignified manner. Calling someone a "dummy," "jack*ss," or "redneck [gosh knows what]" merely makes you kinda sound like one.

And, wow--back to the point Barry was trying to make...it is amazing how vulnerable those politicians/lawmakers truly are! Like a bunch of finely dressed ducks, floating in a pond, surrounded by the comforting sway of the bullrushes....BANG!!!
