I do not remember this ever happening in Tarrant County. A "not guity" verdict in a capital murder case (although the State was not seeking the death penalty).
And it's a high profile one, too, since it involved the death of a child in Haltom City.
There has to be more to this story than what was reported ... also there is always the possibility that the guy was innocent ... The whole thing smells fishy to me ??
Looks like more sloppy police/prosecutor work. Someone did this crime and good police and prosecutors should be able to build a more convincing case before expecting a conviction.

There is more to this story....we'll have to wait for the book.
I agree. ALWAYS be slow to have an "opinion" based on a news story. Our "free press" is often way off base on stories like this.
