You Know . . .

. . . we haven't heard many stories of a postal worker or former postal worker going crazy in quite some time . . . . wait. . . uh oh.

I was thinking the same. It had seemed like the word "POSTAL" had lost its meaning and then it returns in a blaze of fury.

It wouldn't surprise me to see more of this in the future with companies like ENRON and the likes. When hard working Americans get screwed out of there Pensions and the Government sits back and does nothing. 30% of my Salary & Benefits were taken away from me at American Airlines and now the top 1000 Managers get to split Millions because the stock has done well ????

I dunno what the deal with the post office is. They pay well(I think letter carriers start at 12.75/hr) with good benefits. My dad has worked for the postal service for 20 some-odd years and makes well over $20 an hour just sticking mail in mailboxes.

$20 bucks an hour? Forget my job, I'm gonna go work for the Post Office.

That might not be a good idea. Keep in mind, the letter carriers that start today probably won't be able to retire from the Post Office. With more and more business being conducted on the internet, the post office will be obsolete at some point in the future.
